Location: Agiokabos -Edipsos Prefecture: Evia The "Nautilus Museum", is located in the Edipsos region of North Evia. The museum has an audio room where they hold projections about the way these first life forms, from billions of years ago, influenced the civilization of the ensuing generations. Scientific research has shown that these first life forms influenced architectural styles and became artistic masterpieces; that their colour (porphyra) was utilized to dye male and female clothing and that their constitution and shape contributed to technological and medical advancement. In the museum there are exhibits of mosaics made from sea urchins, shells and semi-precious stones.
